Training We Offer

We offer workplace approved first aid and CPR programs that meet workplace, government and academic requirements. We accommodate classes as small as 6 and as large as 18 and are certified through St. John Ambulance.

Emergency First Aid

This course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for Adults, Children and Infants. Includes training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as well as basic first-aid (Circulation emergencies, deadly bleeds, breathing emergencies, basic wound care, how to use an Epipen etc). Course suitable for workplace or general interest.

Standard First Aid

This course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for Adults, Children and Infants. Includes training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as well as comprehensive First-Aid. This course goes above and beyond the Emergency First-Aid course including information, demonstration and hands-on training in, circulation emergencies, deadly bleeds, breathing emergencies, basic wound care, how to use an Epipen, splinting, slinging, bone and joint injuries, environmental injuries and illnesses

Wilderness and Remote First Aid

This is a practical based, learner centred course. Wilderness topics will cover all of Standard First Aid and will have an emphasis on practical skills, decision making and dealing with environmental conditions. This course was designed to address the needs of field personnel, those who work in remote locations, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts where resources may be less than adequate and evacuation to a hospital is hours away. The course offers strategies for providing extended care for up to 24 -72 hours.
