My name is Benny Germain and I have a passion and dedication for teaching people how to respond in an emergency situation. This experience stems from working 25 years as a high school teacher, 18 years of firefighting and rescue experience, and my whole life as an outdoorsman.
I am certified with St Johns Ambulance and have taught Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid and Wilderness and Remote First Aid all throughout Northern and Central Alberta to a variety of class sizes and will travel to your local or remote location to bring training to you.

Personal Testimony
It’s pretty easy to see within a few minutes of Benny’s classes that he’s lived this. He has a warm, friendly way with the students and knows what to say to capture their attention and keep it, and I’ve no doubt that his students will remember his lessons for a long time to come.
Mark Henderson, Fort McMurray
Benny’s classes were great. He was professional and thorough, and you could tell he has developed an art for teaching. He said he was a teacher for 25 years. It shows.
Allisa Hebert, Athabasca
The delivery and professionalism of Staying Alive is something that will not be forgotten. I’ve had staff members who have sat through multiple First Aid courses and the concensus is that is was the best one they’ve ever had.
Scott Grillo, Lac La Biche
I hired Benny to teach my employees, and he made the training real and provided plenty of personal stories and real world anecdotes that brought the training to life. It was really, really good.
